Last update: 03-12-2016 03:39:38
The worship of the Holy Mother was officially recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity on December 1.
Hầu đồng, or hầu bóng is popular in Vietnamese spiritual culture. It originated from the worship of Đạo Mẫu and is a time-honored tradition of Vietnamese people. The indigenous religion has a great significance in religious life of local people. This is Vietnam’s 10th intangible cultural heritage of humanity recognised by UNESCO.
