A Different Half Day Trip in Hanoi to Enjoy Street Eats & Market Tour
The tour begins with an introduction to the local food scene over a hearty bowl of "pho"; noodle soup, the quintessential Hanoi street food. Then it is off to a bustling local market where your chef will demystify the local produce, and encourage you to taste some of its most exotic ingredients. A further 5 venues are included in the tour and all travel between venus is by taxi or on foot, the tour lasts for 5 hours and finishes with a typical Vietnamese ca phe, or che (Vietnamese tea) and local sweets. Your chef and guide will also share some of their favourite eating and shopping secrets in Ha Noi for you to explore further.
At the Hanoi Cooking Centre you have the perfect opportunity to not only to find out more about *what* you are eating during your travels, but the opportunity to shop for *and* cook some of the dishes you've been sampling during your travels.
It's about taking the class(es) on offer, interacting with the staff and the other people with whom you are taking the class, enjoying the shopping/cooking experience and dining on what you yourself have prepared.
The visit to the wet market was very informational and colorful. The classes were conducted by a native-English speaker and ran like a well-oiled machine with a trio of assistants to clear work spaces and bring out the necessary appliances.
Note: The tour runs daily from Monday to Saturday.
